Up for sale here is an excellent 1797 Draped Bust Half Dollar that has been certified and graded Very Good Details (Repaired) by the NGC Grading Service. This is an extremely rare Key Date 1797 Bust Half Dollar. Just 1984 pieces were originally minted, and this coin is among the rare survivors of that mintage today.

This piece is the only 1797 Half I have had in the inventory in over a decade. The surface was repaired and smoothed with some ancient re-engraving. Still, it has quite nice detail and displays nicely. As always, this piece is Guaranteed Genuine.
