Liberty's bust is outlined with a good amount of hair detail showing, and her eye, nose, mouth and ear are defined. LIBERTY is mostly showing at the top of the coin and all of the stars can be seen. Every letter of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA can be read on the reverse and part of E PLURIBUS UNUM remains on the ribbon. The eagle is defined on the reverse with its arrows and olive branch that it is holding clear.

A majority of the shield lines remain visible, and all of the stars above it can be seen. Even most of the lettering is showing on the edge of the coin! This coin was holed at some point and was polished/dipped/harshly cleaned, leaving it very shiny in appearance. Still, a hard to find, extremely old piece of U.
